Changing your eating habit and lifestyle is the first step to take to start seeing changes in your weight. We are not aware that every food we eat contains chemicals that trigger our body to gain weight and acquire diseases. Everyone wants to be in shape, sexy and be looking great but not everyone knows the basic of diet to follow in order to lose weight and maintain it. Others just resort to alternative solution without knowing that the solution may create another health problem. The world of medicine discovered that person with weight inappropriate to his/her age is more prone to acquiring heart related diseases. To counter the problems, several weight loss programs and medicines are made but that is jut another problem because of the myriad medicines we are confuse which one is really effective since each medicine promises a good result.
Let me share to you my diet basics, this is my personal diet alternatives
Choose the right foods to eat
You will not see the result of your sacrifices from diet and exercises if you will not restrain from eating foods that contain chemicals such as trans-fats and MSG. Choose the right foods to eat and know their nutritional value. People with limited time tend to eat instant foods like canned foods and side dishes which have poor nutritional value. Take time checking your food container, eliminate oily and sugary foods replace them with nutritious foods.
Watch the amount you eat
Whether you are eating healthy foods you will still gain weight if you failed to eat in moderation. The higher you consume the bigger you will get in time. Take five small frequent feeding a day with foods packed with nutrients.
Slash your calorie consumption
Do this in a mild progressive manner. The tendency is if you cut your calorie consumption drastically the normal internal activities of your body will be affected which could result to totally losing appetite and fatigue. In the first week of diet, cut at least 10 percent of your usual calorie consumption. Increase the cutting progressively each week until you get to your desired weight.
Exercise regularly
Diet alone cannot improve your general health, what it can do is just to lose your weight. With exercise, you are burning the excess calories while toning up your muscles and boosting your immune system and blood circulation.
Water therapy
As you diet and exercise you are also losing water. Water replenishes the lost water; help fasten digestion and washes out toxins or free radicals. Take 8 glasses of water a day.
